About Us
Formed in late 2005, Nova Caravans is the brainchild of Robert Cataldo (Managing Director). Having himself worked in the caravan industry since 1981, Robert had a dream and a vision to produce his own brand of luxury touring vans.
With a distinct European flavour in the internal appearance and quality built to withstand the harsh Australian conditions, Nova Caravans has emerged as a market leader in style and innovation, from very modest and humble beginnings in a factory in Campbellfield, Nova has now grown to occupy a space of approximately 20 000 ft² in Somerton.
We believe that our success is due in part to the fact that we “crawled” before we “walked” and now we are very “steady on our feet”.
Mission Statement
At Nova our aim is to produce a luxury product at an affordable price to suit the diversity of our market and needs of our clientele. We will, at all times, endeavour to supply our customers a product of the highest possible quality. With a dedicated commitment to quality workmanship and quality fittings throughout the Nova product will serve as a leader amongst its peers.
We will operate our business in an appropriate and ethical manner and build our product in accordance to the industry and national guidelines. We will at every opportunity be available for comment and information regarding our product. And we will strive to develop, implement and use all available resources to continually improve our product along with our service to you.
Just like the English dictionary, we at Nova put quality before quantity!
Warranty
Nova Caravans will warrant, for a period of twelve (12) months, any part or component of the caravan that is manufactured by Nova. All other parts, components or accessories fitted by Nova to the caravan come under the warranty of said part, component or accessory. These parts, components and accessories can include but are not limited to: tyres, air conditioners, fridges, stoves, microwaves, range hood, toilet, hot water systems, awnings, chassis′s and suspensions, electric brakes and all electrical appliances. As detailed previously at point of “handover” the customer must be fully conversant in their product to help eliminate unnecessary warranty claims.
Warranty claims will not be recognised unless the Warranty Registration Form has been lodged with the factory. Before any warranty work can be carried out approval must be gained from Nova. Please be advised that only authorised dealers and or service agents can be used for any warranty work on the Nova product. Accessories supplied and or fitted after market by the dealership, the customer or a service agent will not form part of the Nova Caravans warranty The customer′s first point of call when making a warranty claim must be the dealership from which the van was purchased. The dealership can then liaise with the factory in relation to having work carried out. The Nova warranty will become null and void if it is deemed to be abuse, misuse or careless and negligent action that has led to the alleged fault with the van.
